Last 2nd of July, ReFreeDrive partner European Copper Institute (ECI) took part in TAE Colloquium “Future Mobility”. As a result of their participation, a conference paper was created.
The paper, titled “Innovative E-Drive Solutions for Battery Electric Vehicles Avoiding Rare Earths”, authored by Tomas Jezdinsky and Fernando Nuño, summarizes the approach and the philosophy of ReFreeDrive project, and gives an overview of the progresses made on both Induction and Synchronous Reluctance machines during the design stage of the project.
